Pricing
Know what it costs before you call.
Here's what monthly accounting runs, what a return costs on its own, and who each plan is built for. Your exact number is fixed in writing after we talk, and it doesn't move unless the work does.
Monthly accounting
I keep your books current every month, close them on a set schedule, and send you the reports with a short note on what they say. Your tax returns are part of the plan, so filing stops being a separate scramble in April. Prices below are starting points — your volume sets the final number.

Starting prices. Accounting plans run on a 12-month engagement, then month to month — that's what lets me include your returns in the monthly fee. Included returns are base level: Freelancer covers one 1040 with Schedule C; Start-Up and up cover one personal and one business return with up to two owners. Revenue ranges are a guide, not a cutoff. Prepay 12 months and save 5%.
What moves the price
How many transactions run through the business, how many accounts I'm reconciling, whether you need payroll or sales tax filings, and how many entities you own. Add-ons like payroll coordination, sales tax and cash flow planning are priced per item — we'll go through the ones you actually need on the call. If your add-ons stack up to the next plan, I'll quote you that plan instead.
How working together goes
Step 1: A free call
You tell me where things stand. I tell you what I'd do about it. No prep, nothing to clean up first.
Step 2: A fixed quote in writing
One number for the monthly work, one for any catch-up. You see both before you commit to anything.
Step 3: Getting current
If you're behind, catch-up comes first at its own fixed price. Then we're starting from clean books.
Step 4: Every month after
Books closed on schedule, reports from QuickBooks, and a note from me on what changed and what to watch.
Just need your taxes done

Questions people ask first
- Why "starting at"?
- The price covers the scope on the card. More transactions, more accounts, payroll or extra states move it up. You get the real number in writing after we talk — not an estimate that drifts.
- Is my tax return really included?
- Yes, at a base level — one personal and one business return on Start-Up and up. Extra forms, states or owners are billed at the tax prices above, and you'll know about them well before April.
- My books are a mess. Do I need to fix them first?
- No. Catch-up work is a normal part of this. It's quoted as its own fixed project, we get you current, and the monthly plan starts from there.
- Am I locked in?
- Accounting plans run 12 months, then month to month. The term is what makes it possible to fold your returns into the monthly price instead of billing them separately.
Not sure which one fits?
That's what the call is for. Tell me about the business and I'll tell you which plan I'd put you on and what it would cost.
